Our Curriculum

Our program offers a multi-sensory, developmental approach to learning with an emphasis on pre-literacy, pre-reading and pre-math skills.

We believe that children develop in unique ways and at an individual pace. We will provide materials and activities that will support a child’s current level of development and gently guide their growth. Children will have the opportunity to practice, master and increase skills in all areas of development.

Our 3 year-old class focuses primarily on socialization skills like sharing, taking turns and listening. Our 4 year-old class has an emphasis on Kindergarten prep.

The curriculum is built around the following:

  • Science
  • Social studies
  • Self-help and independence
  • Social and emotional development
  • Language and literacy
  • Creative representation
  • Writing and fine motor
  • Music and movement
  • Math skills
  • Awareness of time
  • Self confidence

We are pleased to offer an Extended Day Program as an option for our 4-year-olds, which is Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. This program offers the traditional preschool day while incorporating Kindergarten skills. The academic portion of this program is modeled after the Kindergarten classroom with “center time” and a strong focus on literacy, math, fine motor, printing and independent skills. Space for this class is limited.
