Our Curriculum

Our program offers a multi-sensory, developmental approach to learning with an emphasis on pre-literacy, pre-reading and pre-math skills.

We believe that children develop in unique ways and at an individual pace. We will provide materials and activities that will support a child’s current level of development and gently guide their growth. Children will have the opportunity to practice, master and increase skills in all areas of development.

Our 3 year-old class focuses primarily on socialization skills like sharing, taking turns and listening. Our 4 year-old class has an emphasis on Kindergarten prep.

The curriculum is built around the following:

  • Science
  • Social studies
  • Self-help and independence
  • Social and emotional development
  • Language and literacy
  • Creative representation
  • Writing and fine motor
  • Music and movement
  • Math skills
  • Awareness of time
  • Self confidence

Four year-old have the option to enroll in the Begindergarten Program, which is Monday through Thursdays. The program is modeled after the Kindergarten classroom with “center time” and a strong focus on literacy, math, fine motor, printing and independent skills. There will be a limit on the number of children allowed in the begindergarten class so we can be sure each child gets the attention they deserve. Enrollment is first come, first served.
